Ruth is an excellent photographer and professional. Our family photos came out amazingly well and we are happy that we were able to have these special photos with our little children before they grow up. Ruth is an open, warm, and professional individual to deal with! The entire process was great. Initially, we had our consultation with her so she was able to guide us in terms of how to optimize our appearance (e.g., staying well hydrated in the days leading up to the photoshoot), what types of outfits to wear, and general grooming tips. She did the makeup for my wife and did a phenomenal job as the makeup accentuated my wife's natural appearance without the makeup appearing too heavy. On the day of the photoshoot, we brought all of our outfits. Ruth was great in guiding us in terms of how to position our bodies and how to get natural poses and smiles from each of us. She directed in different poses and different background props to give variety to the poses we had as a family. She later spent a lot of time with my wife in collaborating with my wife on which digital photos to select. Overall, a very positive, smooth, and warm experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Ruth!!

I met Ruth through the Markham Board of Trade and recently did a business portrait session with her. She made the whole process very comfortable and easy, even though I’m not usually a fan of being in front of the camera. I first met Ruth at an event and got to know that the presenters’ beautiful, charming and professional pictures were taken by her. I was quite impressed with how naturally the individuals’ personality coming through from their portraits. As I was thinking of taking a professional portrait, I thought of her. I told Ruth that I was camera shy, I would really need her to guide me. She not only listened but she naturally just made me feel at ease with the whole process, from the make up to the shooting. We also had lot of fun. During the process, she gave me a few glimpse of the pictures just taken, that was the moment I was completely stunned! Those seemingly ordinary “touch this or that” and “look here or there” were transformed into beautiful, charming yet professional images! … the hardest part was the photo elimination process! Every picture she took captured a beautiful me and it was so hard to select down to a few. Again with her great process and guidance, we completed the mission impossible efficiently! Ruth was also instrumental as to how these photos can be used in business. I honestly fell in love with these portraits. Needless to say, I was totally blown away by Ruth’s talent and her ability to connect with people naturally. Now I know how any one can do modeling, you just need the right photographer with you. Joking aside; for me, that photographer is Ruth. She can be yours too! 200%!
